Featuring Chicago, Trace Adkins, Patti LaBelle, Kool & The Gang, Carly Pearce, Alan Jackson, Loren Allred, the Broadway cast of Just In Time, Gary Sinise, Angel Blue, Joe Mantegna, the Artemis II Crew,
and Maestro Jack Everly conducting the National Symphony Orchestra. Also featured a spectacular live fireworks show from George Washington’s Mount Vernon!

Kick off America’s historic Independence Day weekend on Friday, July 3rd with iconic television personality Alfonso Ribeiro, as he hosts A CAPITOL FOURTH: 250th WEEKEND CELEBRATION, a special edition of the beloved annual holiday tradition, now in its 46th year, broadcast live from the West Lawn of the United States Capitol Building with legendary music artists, stirring tributes and fireworks from George Washington’s iconic home Mount Vernon!

“It is always an honor to host A CAPITOL FOURTH, America’s annual birthday party at the U.S. Capitol Building and this year is extra special because we are celebrating 250 years of our great nation,” said Alfonso Ribeiro. “We’re bringing families together across our country for a patriotic night of incredible music and fantastic fireworks. You don’t want to miss the party on July 3rd!”

The all-star line-up features performances by legendary rock band and Rock & Roll Hall of Famers Chicago with a special introduction from Tony Award-winner and Chicago native Joe Mantegna; multi-platinum hitmaker and country music super-star Trace Adkins; Grammy Award-winning music legend Patti LaBelle; two-time Grammy Award-winning R&B icons Kool & The Gang; Grammy, ACM, CMA and CMT Award-winning country star Carly Pearce; multi-platinum selling country music icon Alan Jackson from Nashville’s famed Ryman Auditorium; the cast of the Tony Award-nominated Broadway smash-hit musical Just In Time starring Olivia Holt, Matthew Magnusson, and Carrie St. Louis; two-time Grammy Award-winning soprano Angel Blue; and the National Symphony Orchestra under the direction of top pops conductor Jack Everly.
