Chicago To Perform in Support of Musicians On Call

Chicago will perform at Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square to raise funds for national nonprofit’s programs bringing the healing power of music to healthcare environments across the country.

Fans of timeless hits like “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” and “If You Leave Me Now” will have another chance to hear these songs live when Chicago visits Times Square for a one-of-a-kind club show experience to benefit Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments. The legendary band will play a rare, up close and personal show at the Hard Rock Cafe on Sunday, April 23rd. Proceeds will support MOC’s programs delivering the healing power of music in hospitals across the country.

“Thanks to the support of great artists like Chicago, we’re able to raise critical funds to help us expand our bedside and virtual programs and share the healing power of music with thousands more patients, families and caregivers at a time when they need it the most,” said Musicians On Call President & CEO Pete Griffin, “Chicago has supported MOC for over 10 years and we’re thrilled to have them back again to celebrate our mission in the place where Musicians On Call began, New York City.”

For more than 20 years Musicians On Call has used music to promote and complement the healing process through in-person, virtual and digital streaming programs that are available across all 50 states. As the nation’s leading provider of live music in hospitals, MOC volunteers have performed for more than one million individuals in healthcare facilities nationwide. Volunteers bring live music to children and adults facing any health challenge, including Veterans recovering in VA facilities, family members supporting loved ones in need and healthcare workers caring for patients.
